Sophisticated Kitchen Remodel
This luxurious kitchen remodel was designed by Judi Stoogenke our senior designer at TR Building and Remodeling. Judi specializes in transforming spaces through the art of design, and it shows in this project which feels fresh and inviting yet maintains a sense of classic elegance.
The lights are supported by a Lutron lighting control system, with remote switching. The kitchen also features a control pad which is connected to a Savant smart home system.
The existing window here is beautifully complemented by an arched valance and subtly features the custom blue-tone color chosen for this remodel. The classic look sink from Shaws has a 42″ base and sits ontop of a thin trip of granite to protect against drips below.
Perhaps one of the standout features of this kitchen, the central island was custom made to order with a stunning Calcutta Marble top.
This space features a convenient pot filling tap and custom laser cut backsplash, sourced locally in CT.
The desk area continues the soft, custom blue color pallet and that stunning Calcutta Marble which maintains the traditional look. This kitchen still features modern conveniences however; the desk area has a Seura TV mounted into the wall, and houses invisible speakers hidden behind the sheetrock. This Seura TV is specifically made for kitchen spaces and designed to protect against water splashes and messes unlike a regular TV.
Some of the cupboards hide clever storage solutions making it easier to reach pots, pans and crockery.
