My wife Mary and I recently had the pleasure of completing a home renovation project with TR Design Build. We have done several renovation projects in the past, and TR Design Build provided the best experience and the highest level of consistent quality. All of the various subcontractors were diligent, skilled, polite and meticulous in both their work and the daily clean up process. Todd Drury, one of the owners of TR Design Build came by daily and reviewed all the work, often correcting the smallest of details which he felt could have been executed better. Todd was uniformly helpful and honest and provided cost effective solutions to several problems. Unlike many other builders with whom we have interacted, Todd is an excellent listener, did not try to impose his “vision” on that of the homeowner’s, and never required being chased down to return a telephone call, stop by the house, or fix a problem (even after the final payment was made). Mary and I cannot envision a smoother, less intrusive, and higher quality renovation than the one which TR Design Build provided. We enthusiastically endorse TR Design Build, without reservations.

They were professional, detail oriented, budget conscious, kept the project on schedule and were a pleasure to work with. This summer TR Design Build did a renovation of our attic. They took it from an unfinished dusty storage space to something bright and fully livable. The job ranged from the removal of old structural and insulation material, to the installation of new electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, wood flooring, and some unique safety issues. Todd Drury also helped us with many of the design features.

Our experience was fully positive. Todd offered many aesthetic and functional options and worked with us through each of them to get to an attractive and reasonably priced final design. Todd Pelletier, as head man on the job, was on site every day and always reachable by phone during off hours. The subcontractors were all professional and courteous and worked to minimize any disruptions to our household – every day they left the house as clean as they found it.

The quality of the final product was well above our expectations. Despite our decision to add some auxiliary work during the project, it was completed on time. Without reservation we’d fully recommend Todd and the TR Design Build team to anyone who is contemplating a similar project.

My experience with TR Design Build involved the reconstruction of my kitchen and dining room. The process began on Sept. 8th and ended on Dec. 12th. These were the dates promised and delivered to me. If you’ve used contractors in the past, you know how unusual this is!

In addition, I wasn’t deluged with constant change orders. Todds’ estimate at the outset was the price I paid. That was a first for me with any construction project I had ever undertaken. And furthermore, my blood pressure never went up the entire time all the crews were in my home. If there was a problem it was fixed on the spot by the TR Design Build project foreman. That is a very high level of service.

And most importantly, the quality of the work is superb. TR Design Build stands by the work they did here to this day.

TR Design Build is more expensive – they should be. They are a Ducati in a field of Vespas.
